Random Freezes While Playing Games on Windows 10
'I have recently upgraded Windows 10 from 32 bit to 64 bit and now my games are randomly locking up on me. The game freezes, with the sound looped (very short sample, so it just sounds like buzzing), and sometimes resumes after a second or two, other times stays locked up. The same happens with several different games, and not in particularly performance-heavy spots. I really hope someone here can help me with some ideas. Thank you very much in advance!!'

How to Fix Windows 10 Computer Freezes When Playing Games
Unfortunately, the freezes occur almost randomly and without much useful feedback. This is not only frustrating but also makes it a lot harder to troubleshoot.
Dec 31, 2011 I've found quite a few posts on the Lenovo forums from people suffering freezing on their laptops and I had the same experience with my new G770. After a little fiddling round I seem to have solved my problems, so I hope this is useful for others too. About once a day, usually while surfing the.
But the good news is, it can be fixed. This post provides you with four useful solutions to solve the freezing computer when playing games.
Solution 1. Cleanup Temp Files and Junk Files
To remove and clear useless junk files or big files, you can refer to professional file cleaner software for help.

Solution 2. Run System File Checker and Fix the Freezing Computer
Step 1. Right-click the 'Start' button and select 'Command Prompt (Admin)'.
Step 2. Type sfc /scannow into the Command Prompt window and press 'Enter' to run a full system scan.
Leave the Command Prompt to run – this may take between 5-10 minutes. After the process is finished at 100%, if everything goes well, you would get the message 'Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.' If you see a message 'Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them', it tells you that you have successfully repaired missing or corrupted system files in Windows 10 with SFC.
Solution 3. Updating all Device Drivers to the Newest
According to users, random computer freezing while playing games usually appears after Windows 10 update. And the reason might be incompatibility of hardware and drivers. To correct it, just update all device drivers.
Step 1. Click the 'Start' menu and click the 'Settings' tab.
Step 2. Click 'Update & security'.
Step 3. Select 'Windows Update' in the left pane and click 'Check for updates' (make sure you have an active Internet connection).

Facebook has become one of the largest game platforms on the Web, acting as home for thousands of different social games. Facebook has the benefit of its games being accessible on any system that can run Adobe Flash, such as laptops, desktop PCs, Macs and Android phones. These games can experience slowdowns regularly as they are not necessarily optimized for the device you are using.
Updating Flash
The majority of popular social games on Facebook require Adobe Flash to be installed on your computer. Flash is a standard plug-in that comes with many Web browsers; however, it does require manual updates. If your version of Flash is too outdated, you may experience incompatibility with various games on Facebook. Update your version of Flash by visiting the Adobe Flash website and installing the version for your operating system. This will likely require a restart of your browser to take effect.
Security Software
It is important to have Internet security software on your computer such as anti-spyware, anti-virus and firewall programs. These programs help keep your computer safe from malicious content that can slow down or destroy your computer. Occasionally, this software can cause your browser to perform slowly, so you should ensure that your anti-virus program is not currently running a scan while you are trying to play a game on Facebook. You should also disable any software firewall while you attempt to load Flash games on the Web.
Using Different Browsers
Some Facebook games are optimized for a different Web browser from the one you may be using. Try downloading and installing another free Web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Many browser alternatives are better for playing Facebook games than Microsoft Internet Explorer. You may find that certain games are smoother and less likely to freeze when using a different Web browser. There is no limit to the number of browsers you may have installed at one time.
Multitasking
Flash games can be quite processor intensive on your computer, so you should make sure that you are not trying to run too many programs at once. Your computer's processor can handle only so many tasks at once before it starts to throttle down the performance of certain actions. Play only one Facebook game at a time, and do not try to watch movies or download large amounts of data while you are playing games on Facebook.
